Where I have been.

Hello loves! I know it has been a super long time since I have written but lots happened!

I have a condition that is called Endometriosis. The Mayo clinic definition of this is: Endometriosis (en-doe-me-tree-O-sis) is an often painful disorder in which tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus — the endometrium — grows outside your uterus (endometrial implant). Endometriosis most commonly involves your ovaries, bowel or the tissue lining your pelvis. Rarely, endometrial tissue may spread beyond your pelvic region.

I also tend to get many ovarian cysts that grow to be bigger than my ovary itself. This is extremely painful. I first developed these symptoms when I was 14. Some weeks, I feel good, others not so much.

Last month though, I got really sick from this. I was in constant pain and in and out of the E.R. After a long talk with my GYN doctor we decided that surgery was my best option.

I checked into the hospital on the 24th of June. I was in surgery for close to 4 hours where they removed a bunch of scar tissue and "spruced up" my ovaries.

I unfortunately am a very unlucky person who ended up with a million and one complications. This included extreme vomiting, a rash, an abscess and finally a kidney infection.

I am starting to feel a lot better now though and that is all that matters! I have a few pics from surgery day and that's about it. Hard to take pictures when you feel that bad.

It took 5 hospital staff and 7 attempts for them to get an actual IV in me. Those are the bruises that they left behind.

So yeah, that's what I have been up too. I will be back to writing more fun and less serious entries soon!!

By the way- David and I went home this weekend to see family and I got to spend lots of time with this cutie!
